Crazy Finish

Hi all, it has been so long since last post and mainly because lot has happened to me :D Nothing bad, I promise. I finally graduated on June after hectic months with my thesis at spring. Also got permanent job on June, started week before graduating! And we moved on August, DD started her pre-school, DH started his school at University of Helsinki and so on :D Belive or not, I have been also stitching and finally finished my Crazy January Challenge piece, Tinkerbell. Will ask girls what they want this to be tomorrow, let's see about that later. Kind of have small problems now as after moving I have lost my WIP crazy bag...after 3 dayd I will be at home for a week, so hoping best then... Otherwise, I don't even want to think! Non stitchy RAK to mouses DD1

Little time ago I sent small gift to mouse, including Moomin tin with tea. Her DD1 wanted the tin as she is Moomin fan and I wanted to surprise her.... So this was what I sent:

It seems that I have done mainly RAKing, but I have stitched a bit too, I swear!

Sent another small RAK

to Deb. As I again bought directly thru online LNS, one of my all time favourite, Wasatch Needlecrafts, I asked Deb that I can borrow her picture.


Skein of Carries cotton, another silk plus Bohin needles. Silk colour makes me think I really need to order some for myself too, haven't tested their silk...

Sent a small RAK

to Tricia from The Stamper's Stitches. As I bought it directly from 123stitch, didn't have picture. Tricia was kind and gaveme permission to borrow picture from her blog

#6 start of the year

Is Lizzie Kate's Hope from Christmas Blessigns. Have stitched all the white parts (people who know me, know that I like to stitch colour by colour if possible)


I was sorry to notice that chart was missing the charm, but I need to try find one. Also need duplicate charms from each chart, thinking about stitching them twice...
Also missing 2 charts from serie, Love and Friends, so need to get them too :D Fabric is allready cutted from them all!

Is Anchor's Tea time hardanger piece. My friend is coming with camera on Saturday, you can then see my uppdate pics, hehehe... I did try to find proper pic about the kit but didn't manage :) But is is lovely, green and white....

Crazies 2 & 3

I have decided to start 14 small and one little HAED, lol! So first I will start all the small ones and then continue to "main" project.

I'm very happy to tell that I have finished 2nd and 3rd crazy projects allready, I met 3 Crazy Finns yesterday and had nice time with them, we chatted, drank tea and stitched in a cafe.

Still alive

Hi again! Have anybody missed me? Some of you may know, that I'm trying desperately finish my thesis and get graduated as bachelor of social sciences so my online life, blog updating has suffered A LOT. I'm sorry for it, but I'm trying to finish next month so maybe things get easier then. Who knows?

I have also recieved lovely birthday presents, more birthday presents, cards and floss. Believe me, I have enjoyed them, love them all and want to thank you every one who have been so sweet and remember me! I too have remembered you with warm thoughts and I have appreciated everything, but have been to exhausted to take pictures. My apologies.

Comfort blanket to Friend

At spring I heard that one of my stitching friends had big problems with her back and she had to take long sick-leave. I felt so sorry for her and started talking with couple of fellow stitchers how could we cheer her up. It didn't took long to organize group of Finnish stitchers who did owl piece and one of us then sow it together. Recipient is big fan of owls and she liked it! (I can tell this as a fact as I visited her personally to give this piece to her!)

Thank you for all participants, I really enjoy seeing something done by all of you!

Keväällä sain kuulla että hyvä ystävämme Kirsi on joutunut pitkälle sairaslomalle selkänsä takia. Tuntui kurjalta tietää, että toinen joutui olemaan pitkään kipujensa kanssa ja halusimme naisten kanssa piristää Kirsiä jollakin tavalla. Minnan kanssa juteltiin ja siitä se idea sitten lähti...Ressu lupasi ystävällisesti kasata peiton ja minä kiikutin sen uudelle omistajalleen. Meitä oli lähemmäs 20 naista pistelemässä Kirsin suosikkieläimiä, pöllöjä, peiton palasiin ja kyllä siitä tulikin upea!

Ihanaa oli myös kun pystyin viemään sen henkilökohtaisesti perille, vaikka vähän täytyikin juksata, ettei toinen käynyt epäilemään mitään ;) Esikoinen nautti reissusta myös paljon, Kirsin tytär piti neidille seuraa ja hän sai ihailla isomman tytön nukkekotia, trampoliinia ja leikkimökkiä!

Dream to Anni

We are having a privat Birthday exchange with Anni and she had her celebration day last month. I did piece to her and after starting it I heard she had engaged! So theme of my stitching fitted perfectly. Or what do you say?

Meillä on Annin kanssa meneillään privaatti synttärivaihto ja pistelin hänelle yllänäkyvän laatikon. Pistely on oikea maailmanmatkaaja, se oli mukanani Venäjälläkin! Pistelyn ollessa vaiheessa sain tiedon, että Anni oli mennyt kihloihin, sekä saanut vakkarityöpaikan. Pistelyn aihe oli mielestäni mitä osuvin, mitä mieltä olette?
